Southern peoples: The Selk'nam

The natives of the island were divided according to their habits of survival in two groups: the hunter-gatherers and hunters adapted to coastal marine life. The "Selk'nam" were hunter-gatherers. They used bows and arrows for their main prey: the guanaco. Of  this animal they used the as food and their skins for clothing.
Also collected, fungi, fruits, rodents and birds.
They are related racially with the Tehuelches.
